I keep coming across posts claiming that the crushing path is amazing, but looking at the planner even at 50 STR crushing +5 only offers 17 more damage than basic +10 (341 vs 324).. There's range yes, there's also the upgrade paths. Claymore can go Crushing and Blessed but flamberge cant. Flamberge can go Sharp and Crescent but Claymore cant.
